The Chess'n Math Association is proud to announce that the bursary program will be extened to the end of 2007.

The following people have benefitted from this program in the past (I am doing this off the top of my head so if I have left someone out, please tell me):

Mark Bluvstein (IM in 2001 and GM in 2004= $9,000)
Pascal Charbonneau (Quebec Master - $1,000 & IM - $2,000 & GM ($3,500 as this was accomplished after age requirement) = $6,500)
Stephen Glinert (IM in 2002 = $2,000)
Victor Kaminski Canadian Master = $1,000
Tomas Krnan (Canadian Master in 2003, International Master in 2006 = $3,000)
Fanhao Meng (Canadian Master in 2003 = $1,000)
Nikolay Noritsyn (Canadian Master in 2004=$1,000)
Raja Panjwani (Canadian Master in 2005 = $1,000)
Sebastian Predescu (Cdn Master in 2003 = $1,000)
Thomas Rouusel-Roozmon (Qc Master & IM = $3,000)
Shiyam Thivandiran (Cdn Master in 2004 = $1,000)

The following players also received bursaries at the discretion of the CMA board as they had missed the age deadline by little (50% of the amount they would have received had they qualified):
