*NEW* The CMA Team Tournament is a tournament in which participants play in teams of 4 and play against other teams of 4 with the goal of winning more than half the individual matchups. Team chess brings a new dynamic to chess competition. Rather than competition among individuals, players must now play for each other, as every game can change a team's fortunes. The camaraderie and excitement of team matches make them a favorite of many players. Before the tournament begins participants will be given the option to make their own teams, or be assigned to a group.

When: Sunday May 28, 2017

• Players may arrive as early as 11am for on-site registration / warm-up games, all players (including those who register online) must arrive by 11:45 
• Tournament will run until ~3:30pm

Where: Glebe Community Center, 175 Third Ave, Ottawa, ON

Who can play: Kids age 4-16

Cost: $20 for those who register online by Friday  by Saturday May 26. $25 if paid on-site from 11am - 11:45am.
