    The Chess'n Math Association Canada's National Scholastic Chess Association, turns 30 years old this summer. Players from Canada and the United States will take part.

    (45 minutes north of Montreal, free bus service from Montreal)
    Play chess against top youngsters from Canada, the U.S. and other countries!
    ELIGIBILITY:The top 50 students in each grade from grades K-12 by Chess'n Math (CMA) rating on June 1, 2015. We use the school grade you were in during the 2014-2015 school year. For a complete list check out the NEWS section of our website: www.chess-math.org. A number of players from the U.S.and other countries will also be invited making the event even more competitive.
    SYSTEM:13 Sections from Kindergarten to grade 12. 5-round swiss system in each section.
    SCHEDULE:Friday Aug 21: Round 1 - 7 p.m.
    Saturday Aug. 22: Round 2 - 10 a.m.; Round 3 - 2 p.m.; Banquet 6 p.m. (Additional fee of $ 15 / pers.)
    Sunday Aug 23: Round 4 - 9 a.m.; Round 5 - 1 p.m.; Awards Ceremony 4:30 p.m.
    TIME CONTROL: 90 minutes + 5 second increment per player for the game. Clocks and sets are supplied.
    LODGING:Lodging is available at the Chantecler. This is a great hotel located in The Laurentians. They also have a private lake! We have special rates of $95 plus tax (two double beds - maximum 4 people to a room). You must mention the Chess Tournament. These rates are guaranteed to June 28th.     ENTRY FEE:$45 if paid by June 28, 2015.
    $50 between June 29 and July 31.
    $60 between Aug 1 and Aug 15.
    Those who register after August 15, 2015 will be charged $75
    PRIZES:Trophies to the top 5 in each grade. Plus 1st place in each grade receives a $100 gift certificate, 2nd place in each grade receives a gift certificate for $50 while 3rd, 4th and 5th place in each grade receives a $20 gift certificate. The certificates will be redeemable at Strategy Games and they will have a booth on site. Winners can also redeem tham at one of the Strategy Game stores in Canada: www.strategygames.ca
