Level 1 - Introduction (CMA Pawn equivalent):
Introduction - the movement of the pieces and basic rules such as the initial position and starting to play.
Level 2 - Beginner (CMA Knight equivalent):
Learn castling, basic gameplay, easy checkmates, the en passant move.
For those who know how the pieces move; or have completed our Level 1 course.
Level 3 - Intermediate (CMA Bishop and Rook equivalent):
Learn basic tactics, openings, basic strategy, ideas for checkmate, point count.
For those who know how to checkmate; or have completed our Level 1 & 2 courses.
Level 4 - Advanced Level 1 (CMA Queen and King equivalent):
Learn basic combinations, more advanced tactics (themes and sacrifices), openings, more strategy, stalemate.
For those who know how to play quite well, know some tactics & strategy; or have completed our Level 3 course.
Level 5 - Advanced level 2 (equivalent to Intermediate and Advanced CMA levels):
Learn advanced tactics & combinations, piece exchanges & pawn structures, pawn queening, attack & defence.
For those who know tactics, combinations & strategy; or have completed our Advanced Course 1/Queen and King levels.
