2017 International Chess Festival St-Denis

Registration (including GST and PST): $120 until June 30 2017. $135 after June 30, 2017. No refunds.

Guaranteed Prizes:  1st - $2,000, 2nd - $1,000, 3rd - $500. Under 2000 - $450.

Section "Rue Sherbrooke" (U-1800 Swiss - 9 rounds)

Guaranteed Prizes:  1st - $900, 2nd - $525, 3rd - $300. Under 1600 - $325.

Additional Information:

Space is limited. Section Mont Royal and rue Sherbrooke - maximum of 50 players in all. One must have a CFC or FQE rating over 1400 or have a FIDE rating.

All 2 sections are rated by FIDE, the CFC and the FQE. Players must be a member of the CFC or the FQE.

We will be using the highest of your established ratings (FQE, CFC or FIDE) for pairings and for prizes.

If you have not arrived within 30 minutes of the official start time of a round, you will lose automatically.

Where:

Chess'n Math Association, 3423 St. Denis Street, 4th floor, Montreal (Sherbrooke Metro)

Schedule: 9 rounds - One game per day.

Round 1 and 2 - Saturday and Sunday, July 22-23, 2017 at 13h00.

Round 3 to 7 - Monday to Friday, July 24-28, 2017 at 18h30.

Round 8 and 9 - Saturday and Sunday, July 29-30, 2017 at 13h00.

Time Control:

90'/40 + 30'/mate + 30 sec/move from the first move.
