Christmas is a very special time of the year:  A time when even the mortal enemies of Snoopy and the Red Baron can put aside their differences in order to help ring in peace throughout the land.

It is a time when even the most cold hearted Grinches can have a change of heart and decide to start anew.

And it is a time that can offer the most selfish of Scrooges a profound moment of reflection and redemption.

How many times have you watched a young, mournful George Bailey miss out on his chance to leave Bedford Falls, and then realize that he has lived a rich and wonderful life all these years?

What are your favourite memories of Christmas time as a child?  Is it playing in the snow for hours and then returning home to the warmth of a wood burning fireplace and a cup of hot chocolate?

Is it helping to decorate the Christmas tree with the fine ornaments that only make their appearance once a year during this special time?  Is it baking sugar cookies or a gingerbread house with your Mom?

Is it playing hours and hours of board games with your family after enjoying a well laid out Christmas feast?

Christmas offers us all as special time of hope, joy, and a chance at everlasting redemption.

Merry Christmas and God’s blessings to you and your families!
