Executive Director of Chess’n Math Association, Larry Bevand, sends his congratulations for an outstanding turn out:

 

Larry:  “Yesterday (Nov. 22, 2015) Toronto CMA held their first Grand Prix event of the new school year.  Last year's event drew a record participation of 325 youngsters but with "work to rule" going on in Ontario schools as well as a recent turnover in Toronto staff, few (well maybe Francis LOL) would have predicted another record setting event.  

Incredible as it may sound, yesterday's event drew more players for a Grand Prix even than we have ever seen in our 30 year history...345 youngsters!  Of course the previous record was set by Francis last year (:

I don't know how he does it!  Congratulations Francis Rodriguez....you are AWESOME!”
