Come one, come all, there is just over a week left until Chess'n Math's first Grand Prix Event of the season!

If you haven't heard about CMA's famous series of chess tournaments known as the Grand Prix, don't worry, there is a detailed explanation right here.

Just a reminder, the tournament happens Sunday, January 31st and takes place at the Glebe Community Center. Registration takes place at the venue and will run from 11am to 11:45am. Tournament games themselves are scheduled to run until just after 3:00pm.

Another reminder, Grand Prix events are broken into sections based on age group, so no matter whether you're rated or not, come out! If you know how to checkmate you're good enough to play in a tournament.

This year's Grand Prix is projected to be our biggest yet, and we can't wait to see you there! Make sure to check out our blog after the tournament for a summary, results, and pictures.

Yours in chess,

Drew
