1. TO PLAY: a game each round, your child or the opponent, must "Challenge" each other.
2. LOG IN: to your Lichess Account!   https://lichess.org/
3. FIND: your opponent's name - it's every round, in the above Google Sheet Link - COPY this name.
4. GO: to Lichess's Search Bar - on Top Right, next to your Username. Click on the little magnifying glass.
5. PASTE: in your opponent's Username & CLICK. His profile appears. Click on the 2 crossed swords icon.
   
6. TO CHALLENGE: Select "STANDARD". Time:  "REAL TIME". Minutes: "15",
   Increment: "5". Select "RATED" and finally click your king's colour Black or White.
   
7. MUST: both accept the Challenge. Both clocks will start. If no response, game is lost.
8. GAME over, both players MUST report the result. Go back to the Google Sheet page.
9. TAKE: your mouse to the word "HERE" on Google Sheets top. CLICK, and enter results.
10. PROBLEMS?  go back to top right Lichess Search bar, type in SHChessSince1999,
    CLICK, and a chat screen will open. KAREN will help you! You can also ask Omar on Zoom.

Dear Members and Parents

We are pleased to invite you to the 5th online rated Chess ’N Math Tournament on November 22nd, 2020, played by rating (strength) sections (up to 20 players) using CMA ratings. The Tournament is directed by FIDE Arbiters Corinna Wan, Karen Wan
Omar Shah of the Chess 'N Math Association.

Date: Sunday, November 22, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. - the event lasts approx. 4 hours
Time Control: 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment (5 rounds)
Where: Online - a link with instructions will be sent to all participants
Entry: $ 15. Also, see the registration deadline below ***
Prizes: 1st:  $30.  2nd: $20.  3rd: $15 for each section (all prizes Gift Certificates at Strategy Games)

*** IMPORTANT ***: We must receive your registration by Friday, November 20th AT THE LATEST to be able to participate

Please note :

Online tournaments are based on the integrity of all participants. Regular Chess’n Math Association tournament
rules apply. Competitors may not have outside assistance, either from another player or computer - our software can detect this. The Tournament Directors will penalize a result that used outside assistance. All CMA games are
