QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT FOR THE DÉFI ÉCHIQUÉEN DU QUÉBEC

When? 

Qualification Tournament 1: Sunday December 8th, the tournament begins at  11:30am and should end around 4:30pm

You may pre-register until Friday, December 6th at noon for 40$ or register 45$ on site before the beginning of the tournament.

Qualification Tournament 2: Sunday February 9th, the tournament begins at 11:30am and should end around 4:30pm

You may pre-register until Friday, February 7th at noon for 40$ or register 45$ on site before the beginning of the tournament.

Qualification Tournament 3: Sunday April 13th, the tournament begins at 11:30am and should end around 4:30pm

You may pre-register until Friday, April 11th at noon for 40$ or register 45$ on site before the beginning of the tournament. 

Where ? At Loisirs St-Henri, 530 rue du Couvent, Montréal. H4C 2R4

The tournament is open to all children between kindergarten to cégep. The children will play against players with according to their grade.
To have fun, the child must be able to mate and know the difference between mate and stalemate.
The time control is 20 minutes + 5 seconds increment.

In addition to the top 10 of each grade, all those who have played 10 or more rated games between September 1st and December 31, 2024 will be invited to accompany us to the Saratoga Springs, New York scholastic championship.
