REGULAR CHESS TOURNAMENT IN COLLABORATION WITH THE PEC
When? Sunday October 2nd,The tournament beings at 11:30 am and should end around 4:30pm
Where ? At 1670 Avenue Desjardins, Montréal. H1V 2G7 Between Boul Pie-IX et Rue la Fontaine (Parking at 4120 rue Lafontaine).
You can pre-register on our website (scrolling this page downward) until friday the 30th of september at noon for 25$ or 30$ on site before the begining of the tournament. You may also pre-register for all our regular tournaments (4) with the 80$ pass at the online pre-registration
The tournament is open to all children between kindergarten to cégep. The children will play against players with similar ratings. If they don't have any ratings, they will be match according to their age.
To have fun, the child must be able to mate and know the difference between mate and stalemate.
The time control is 20 minutes + 5 seconds increment.
In addition to the top 10 of each grade, all those who have played 10 or more rated games between September 1st and December 31, 2022 will be invited to accompany us to the Saratoga Springs, New York scholastic championship.

The top 3 players of each section get a medal! Macaroons for all players! Raffle between all players in the tournament!
Players without any rating will play with other players of the same age
