QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT FOR THE DÉFI ÉCHIQUÉEN DU QUÉBEC

**Please note that the tournament has been postponed from February 11th to 18th**.
Players who have already registered will be contacted by e-mail shortly.
When? Sunday February 18th, the tournament begins at 11:30am and should end around 4:30pm
Where ? At Loisirs St-Henri, 530 rue du Couvent, Montréal. H4C 2R4
You may pre-register on our website (scrolling this page downward) until Friday, February 12th at noon for 40$ or register 45$ on site before the beginning of the tournament.
The tournament is open to all children between kindergarten to cégep. The children will play against players with according to their grade.
To have fun, the child must be able to mate and know the difference between mate and stalemate.
The time control is 20 minutes + 5 seconds increment.

In addition to the top 10 of each grade, all those who have played 10 or more rated games between September 1st and December 31, 2023 will be invited to accompany us to the Saratoga Springs, New York scholastic championship.
